Update on the Lancashire Landings 2023

Message from the organiser.

last year’s Lancashire Landing in July which went pretty well despite mediocre weather, we are planning for this year’s event with help from John Bradbury.

The prime date is Saturday 27th May 2023 which promises to be a good beach day so we just need the good weather. Alternative dates if the weather is not so good are Saturdays 1st/15th/29th July, 12th/26th August and 9th/23rd September.

Chester Potts of the Fusiliers will be there this year and he usually tries to bring one or more serving Fusiliers with him. This year, the Flyer editorial team are interested in attending – Flyer is the premier monthly for light aviation – and they will bring some interesting aircraft with them.

Aircraft should be arriving from around 10.30am and the last ones to leave are usually taking off around 4.30pm.
